Marketing? Career Choice?
I will say I do like the marketing aspect of a communications job. I like trying to design something that makes it visually appealing to an audience to bring them in. I just wish I was more creative with my marketing ideas. It is fun though working with design. It gives me the experience I need.

Photo Editing
Photo editing is a pain the butt. That is decided. I love my camera and I want to be good but I can never get the lighting to come out right with my camera. It is easier too blue or too yellow. Then when it comes to editing, what is too much editing? Lots of practice needed. The challenge happens even more when dealing with trying to capture photos of moving objects like cats and dogs. I am determined to do better though. I will find a way to take photos that come out in clarity and just the right focus.
Web Design!
It has been fun and tedious today working on the website for Columbus Dog Connection. Luckily I am able to use their program weebly.com that has everything generated to just plug in pictures and text. I like web design when it doesn't involve coding. This internship has been fun with playing with the trial and error of design. Trying to grasp perfectly what the director wants but still being able to play with my own creativity. It's frustrating to try to get the right intent on design but still make sure to stay creative. Kellie asked me to do some fun creative attention grabbing quotes in the cat brochures. I just don't know if I am that creative ha It is still fun being challenged though. Whats better, I like creating something for an organization that has a purpose. I passion I also have a drive for. It's rewarding

Design,Design,Design
Well after getting my bearings a little more with the work I am doing with Columbus Dog Connection I realized how many minor technical issues there can be with working with design programs. I love creating stuff. I love making it look good and up to the "clients" expectations. It is hard though when there are little issues here and there of what the end result is and the how much they meet expectations. I have had to go back a little here and there to make minor adjustments to the image to the text. I wish I knew more knowledge of proper technique of simple design and editing aspects. I struggle with editing and also comprising aspects to fit which criteria it is being used for. Print? Web? It is a fun process and I guess the point of an internship. To learn and get the experience. My goal is definitely improve my design skills.
